# What is LiquiMarket

**LiquiMarket** is a **Liquidity Locked Marketplace**, a platform where users can buy and sell LP (Liquidity Provider) tokens that are still locked in smart contracts.

Typically, once liquidity is locked, it becomes inaccessible until the unlock date, even if the project slows down or loses traction. LiquiMarket introduces new utility by allowing holders to trade these locked LP tokens on a secondary marketplace. This gives both sellers and buyers a new way to unlock value from assets that would otherwise remain idle.
